G_samsa, flowers are the theme of the week. Flowers in bloom. I know it is girly, but I am a female, and there is a reason behind the flowers. I hope you all find them as cheery as I.

Val, thank you for all the sweet comments.

I don't know how they classify the Flaming Lips? Alteritive Rock ?

I can't watch sports on TV and draw. It just doesn't work for me.

Love Serena Williams! (one reason why I named my daughter that) :)

:-) I couldn't draw while watching sports either. You can't do anything while watching sports.

Serena is excellent but I'm partial to Venus. :-) Do you have a favorite male player?

LOL, Val, I really don't watch anough to have a favorite. I like playing tennis better than watching, but watch it from time to time. Mostly the women. I like both Venus and Serena. I only had one daughter to name thaugh. :)

lol I guess most people aren't as fanatical about tennis as I am. If I were going to name a daughter after a tennis player it'd be Steffi Graf (know her?) not because I'm a big fan or anything but because the name is cool. :-)

The Violet Beatnick, I really like your blog, and your name. I used to live in Phoenix, thats how I knew the story of the phoenix.

Moss Roses grow wild here in Florida. I like them because they blom in the morning, and close at night. They are very small, and grow close to the ground. The picture is of them up close. They are not like roses at all.

Didnt know we had so many tennis lovers in one place!(Or is it the preaty girls) Courtney watched some of the US open too.

I just cant draw and watch TV, and I would rather do something creative, more often then not.
