"In Love" by Angery Butterfly

Some one touched my shoulder,
I turned, it was you,
but then you slipped away,
Oh what am I to do?

I thaught I heard you call my name,
your vioce rang loud and clear,
but I was all alone, in bed,
and no one else was near.

Someone kissed me softly,
I felt a kiss from you,
I know that I was dreaming,
but I wish that it was true.

I know I heard you wistper,
I love you, in my ear,
I know that it was not you,
but I wish that you were here.

This is decent. How often do you write poetry?

Christoper trottier, I don't write a whole lot. Every now and then, in between drawing. I wish I was better, but I still like to express myself.

Who is it about? :)
I liked it. Someone you wished you could be with but could not? Is it auto-biographical?

CAN I HAVE SOME OF YR GREY MATERIAL??
plz plz . thats really nice stuff. well i guess thats the best complemet u can get because it comes from a guy who hated poetry so very much during his school days. (well that was mostly because we had learn them by heart and they always had more meaning to them than was evident on the surface.)In school my teacher used to analyze a poem and tell what the lines meant and i was like ..... where did u get that from.
Anyway the poem is really nice. keep up the good work. and its always interesting to know the history behind the poem .. so go ahead and enlighten us.

I liked your poem a lot. :-)

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply to your comment. I moved back into my dorm and then I got the stomach virus and then I got an absess tooth. So a very sucky past week.

My top five favorite songs... umm... I like a lot of different genres like a bunch of songs from the eigthies like "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake. But I also like mellow rock stuff like Damien Rice's "Volcanoes" or Dashboard Confessional "Standard Lines". But I absolutely love the Dave Matthews Band. My favorite song of theirs is "Superman".

What are you five favorites?

hi Val,
Sorry to here about your tooth.

I hope everything is going OK for you there at the dorm.

I posted my top five songs, a little futher down on my blog.

Great song chioces. I like all of those, except I don't know if I have heard "Volcanoes".Sometimes I hear songs ,on the radio, but don't know who they are by. Anyway, I am really glad that you decieded to take me up on the challange. It's always fun for me to hear what others are listening to, music wise.

Feel better real soon. :)

I'll be back by your blog. (Abbey)

Sometimes my poems just flow out, and then I have to go back, and say, what was this all about. This is one of those times.

I was inspired to write it, after I read a piece about falling in love rather, than getting on antideppressants. I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice to fall in love again. So I made consous chioce to have that feeling, and then I wrote the peom. The peom is about me. It is auto-biographical. It speaks more to my feelings of wishing for that kind of love, more than about anyone person.

P. S. g_samsa I love the movie "Finding Nemo" and that quote. :)

Thank you again, to everone, for all your kind words.
